Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process a variety of insurance claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and UK insurance regulations.
  • Maintain regular and clear communication with clients and internal teams using CRM software and digital communication tools.
  • Manage your schedule effectively to meet deadlines and service level agreements in a home-based working environment.
  • Investigate claim details thoroughly, verifying information and liaising with third parties as necessary to facilitate claim resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing claimants’ inquiries professionally and empathetically in compliance with data protection standards.
  • Document all claim activities accurately within MS Office and CRM platforms for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and managers virtually, contributing to team meetings and training sessions to promote continual learning and process improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in insurance claims processing within the UK market, preferably at a mid-level.
  • Strong understanding of UK insurance regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software for claims tracking and customer management.
  • Efficient time management skills to ensure deadlines are consistently met when working autonomously.
  • Preferred: Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., CII certifications) or evidence of continuous professional development in insurance.
  • Preferred: Experience working in remote insurance jobs or within a virtual team environment.
